1. Scope

Lakebed Auth is an authentication broker for Google sign-in used by Lakebed apps. By using Lakebed Auth, you agree to these Terms.

2. What Lakebed Auth Provides

Lakebed Auth handles sign-in and token exchange, then returns a signed identity token containing an immutable Lakebed subject shared across compatible apps and an origin-scoped compatibility identifier (pairwise_sub).

3. Eligibility and Acceptable Use

  • You must use Lakebed Auth lawfully and only for legitimate authentication workflows.
  • You may not abuse, scrape, reverse engineer, interfere with, or attempt to bypass security controls.
  • You may not use Lakebed Auth to violate any third-party rights, including Google platform policies.

4. Third-Party Services

Lakebed Auth depends on third-party services including Google Identity services. Your use of those services is also subject to their terms and privacy practices.

5. Data and Privacy

Your use of Lakebed Auth is also governed by the Privacy Policy, which explains what Lakebed Auth collects, how it is used, and data retention/deletion.

6. Availability and Changes

Lakebed Auth is provided on an as-is and as-available basis. Features may change, be suspended, or be discontinued at any time.

7. Disclaimer

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Lakebed Auth disclaims all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Lakebed Auth and its operators are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, revenue, or profits.

9. Termination

Lakebed Auth may suspend or terminate access if use violates these Terms or poses security, legal, or abuse risk.
